Black Hojicha Cornetto coming to S’pore soon
Can’t get enough of Cornetto ice cream cones? There’s a new limited-edition flavour that’s coming soon you won’t be able to resist.
After making its debut in Thailand and Indonesia, the Black Hojicha Cornetto is set to arrive in Singapore this February.
The new flavour comes in a special black-coloured wrapping and even has a label written in Japanese – Hōjicha (焙じ茶). For those not familiar, hojicha means roasted green tea in Japanese.
Upon unwrapping, fans will be greeted with dark-coloured soft serve on top of a charcoal biscuit cone.
According to reviews on Instagram, the ice cream comes with a mild hojicha taste and is not overly sweet.
There’s also a surprise waiting once you bite deeper – dark chocolate lava at its core.

The new treat will reportedly be available via online grocer Redmart (now under Lazada) from 31 January onwards. It will be priced at $2.40 each or $6.70 for a bundled multipack of 3.
