Gold one likely most popular

Casio G-Shock new GM-6900 metal series coming soon

After their successful GMW-B5000 releases, Casio is wasting no time to launch another metallic G-Shock line, this time based on the classic DW-6900 triple graph dial design.

The DW-6900 has been popular since it was first released back in early 1995 and became a streetwear icon and the base model for collabs with other fashion brands.

GM-6900 Series

The new GM-6900 retains the same design, characterized by the triple round indicators on the watch dial.

Casio says making the 6900 metallic bezels involves approximately 20 forging stages and several cutting and polishing steps as the intricate shape comes with many fine details such as its button guards.

There will be 3 colourways for fans to choose from – GM-6900B in red (with red strap), GM-6900 in silver and GM-6900G in gold with black straps.

25th Anniversary Models

In addition to the GM-6900 collection, Casio will also be releasing two special models to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the 6900 series.

The two DW-6900SP models will feature translucent material and watch face with colour gradation that changes when viewing from different angles.
