Craving for your favourite Chicken McNuggets but can’t get it now since McDonald’s Singapore decided to extend their temporary closure? Here’s an alternative.
A certain netizen by the name of Leslie Koh recently found a chicken nuggets brand by the name FreezePak sold in grocery stores that tastes almost the same as the McNuggets sold in McDonald’s.
He even says the shape, smell and taste are close to 100% after searching for replacements for a long time.
The only difference he mentioned is the “mouth-feel”, as frying at home won’t be able to reach high temperatures compared to industrial fryers in McDonald’s restaurants.
Looks pretty close.
Leslie also went on a search at popular supermarkets in Singapore and found the FreezePak Chicken Nuggets being stocked in NTUC FairPrice, Sheng Siong and online from Song Fish’s website.
They are priced around $7 to $8 per 1kg pack.
The Facebook post has since gone viral with almost 8,000 shares at the time of this writing, which means you might want to drop by your nearest supermarket to find them if you can’t wait for McDonald’s to open.
