Here’s a noodle stall to check out if you are working or staying near Amoy St Food Centre.
As the aptly-named food stall suggests, Delonix is a 3rd-generation hawker that has recently opened his fishball noodle business in Amoy St Food Centre after turning 21 but had to close temporarily shortly due to Circuit Breaker regulations on hawkers in CBD.
Despite being a hopeful hawkerpreneur, he is worried about his cashflow due to the dine-in restrictions.
According to his Facebook post, he has been helping out his dad’s Yong Tau Foo business (since the 60s) in the wet market since young and their fishballs are made from scratch daily using 100% yellowtail fish meat.
They even have to wake up at 1am to make them.
Delonix is appealing to fishball lovers to try out his Yong Tau Foo and Fishball Noodle dishes.
Sure looks yummy.
There’s even a video showing how it all started.
For those who are keen to buy the fishballs or Yong Tau Foo ingredients direct from the wet market, you can also find their stall is located at 22 Lor 7 Toa Payoh #01-82 (also known as Kim Keat Palm Market).
All reasonably priced too.
Confirm must go buy/try.
