McDonald’s M’sia has Mango McFlurry & Pulut Hitam Pie we wished the border had opened already

Why now

Hope McD M’sia’s Pulut Hitam and Mango desserts are still there when the causeway finally opens

The COVID-19 virus crisis is unlikely to disappear anytime soon but elsewhere across the border, McDonald’s Malaysia is tempting us with their new food items.

Here are some of them we can only see, but can’t eat (at least for now).

Thai Green Curry Burger

Making its aroi-matic return is the Thai Green Curry Burger in fish or chicken patty options. Each delicious burger is topped with special Thai sauce and colourful mixed vegetables between a warm oblong bun.

The real thing looks seriously good too.

Pulut Hitam Santan Pie

Also a popular local dessert here in Singapore, McDonald’s Malaysia managed to take the Pulut Hitam (black glutinous rice porridge) and turn it into a pie.

Santan, by the way, means Coconut Milk in Malay, which is the perfect ingredient to go along with the dessert.

This is how the pie looks like IRL.

Mango McFlurry & Sundae

Desserts including the McFlurry and Sundae are getting a tropical twist in McDonald’s as well.

What’s more, the Mango McFlurry even comes with Oreo cookie bits in it.

Hope the Malaysia-Singapore border opens soon, which may be really soon according to a recent ST report.
