HK-style cafe with imported snacks Joy Luck Teahouse opening soon in ION Orchard
A new Hong Kong-style cafe Joy Luck Teahouse (歡樂冰室) will be opening their doors soon at ION Orchard.
The one-of-a-kind food stall will have snacks and drinks imported from famous Hong Kong-based eateries.
The dishes and drinks will include Hong Kong Milk Tea, Egg Tarts and Pineapple Bun – the 3 culinary treasures of Hong Kong.
Their egg tarts will come from Hoover Bakery located in Kowloon City.
Bolo buns and milk tea from Kam Kee Cafe which has been around since 1967.
Curry Fishballs from Tak Hing Fishball Company.
Yum.
Joy Luck Teahouse will be located in basement 4 of the mall and according to their Facebook page, it is likely a food kiosk with takeaway options. It is unclear if there will be any seat-in option.
