Singapore Airlines Mahjong Set available for preorder again this Jan 2021
Believe it or not, Singapore Airlines has made a Mahjong Set even those who don’t play will want to get one.

The limited-edition mahjong set, which launched earlier in mid-December and sold out since is back with another round of pre-order. Mahjong lovers and collectors can now place their order for it at $338 per set ($361.66 after GST).
The unique mahjong set has tiles that come with designs inspired by Singapore Airline’s signature batik motif and flight-related elements.
Here’s the list of tiles that are distinctively styled:
- Flowers & Seasons: The batik motif is inspired by local flowers, which are used in the tiles for flowers and seasons.
- White Board: The aircraft window is used to represent the white board tile.
- Circles: The design of Circles are inspired by aircraft engines
- Bamboo: The bamboo suit reflects the seat map, while the first bamboo tile is depicted by the Singapore Airlines logo.
- Honour: Fei (which translates to flying) features a traveller.
The set also comes with wind marker and dices that feature the airlines’s yellow and blue colour themes.
So nice.
Even the mahjong case has batik motifs embossed on it for that premium feel and touch.
The entire set which comes with 4 sets of gaming chips and a story card weighs around 6kg.
Things to take note
Do note that this is a pre-order sale and will only be fulfilled later this year from July onwards. Longer delivery lead time may occur if there’s overwhelming demand.
