40-year-old Waffletown in S’pore closing down next month
Another long-time F&B establishment is shutting down soon, this time around a fast-casual restaurant by the name of Waffletown located in Balmoral Plaza.
40 years in operation
The family-owned restaurant which is part of the U.S chain of the same name is reportedly calling it a day on 18 May next month.
Waffletown is known for its fried chicken, waffles and ice cream dishes and has been in Singapore for around 40 years, which means this is your last chance to enjoy your childhood favourites if you frequent the place.

Here are some of their dishes, including their signature Chicken & Waffles Combo dish which costs $6.50.

Besides the obvious waffles dishes, the place also serves burgers, fried chicken and finger food.

There are also waffle desserts served with ice cream scoops.

It also has that old-school fast-food counter look that you won’t be able to find in Singapore anymore.
