S’pore only Bathing Ape store in Mandarin Gallery to close down, last day of operation on Jun 16

BAPE store in Mandarin Gallery will close for good in mid-June 2021

Another fashion brand in Singapore has called it quits, likely due to bad business caused by the pandemic.

Closing in June

Known for its flashy designs and iconic ape logo created by Tomoaki “Nigo” Nagao, Japan’s famous street fashion brand A Bathing Ape (or BAPE) store in Mandarin Gallery will be closing in less than a month.

Here are some of their recent fashionwear and accessories.

According to the store, the last day of operation will be on 16 June (Wed).

The BAPE store is managed by Kwang Sia in Singapore which is also the retail partner for leading global luxury fashion brands such as MaxMara, Diesel, HUGO BOSS and Versace.

It’s the only BAPE store in Singapore.

A while ago, they were holding sales at the Mandarin Gallery outlet and a pop-up in Scotts Square.

Last chance to shop for your favourite BAPE clothing here before it closes next month since it’s not clear the brand will return anytime soon.

Missed it and you will have to make a trip down to Japan to get your hands on them when things return to normal.
