Taiwan’s Yu Ba Fang opens their first S’pore outlet in Raffles City
Travelling to Taiwan used to be an annual affair for some and if you are missing Taiwanese street food, here’s a new dumpling place you will want to try.
Yu Ba Fang Handmade Dumplings
Known for its unusual spear-shaped dumplings or potstickers (锅贴) that are made on the spot before pan-fried to a crisp, customers can now find Yu Ba Fang (御八方) in Raffles City basement 1.
It’s the famous dumpling shop’s first outlet in Singapore.
While Yu Ba Fang has a number of outlets in Taiwan, the group actually belongs to a Chinese franchise that specialises in high-quality dumplings.

Hualien Ji’an Fragrant Chives Pan-Fried Dumplings
The chives dumpling is the shop’s signature bestseller with each dumpling weighing exactly 28g and bursting in flavour.
They are also prepared upon order to preserve the freshness.
