Beach lovers will soon be able to book overnight stays in tiny houses on Lazarus Island.

Big Tiny Houses

These compact and eco-friendly houses created by Big Tiny will come fitted with a queen-sized bed, sofa bed and equipped with a kitchen, air-conditioning and shower with hot water.

Measuring between 150 and 170 sqft in size, five of them are being set up on Lazarus Island, one of Singapore’s southern islands with a clean and white sandy beach on a C-shaped lagoon.

These houses also come with wheels and can easily be relocated after being loaded up.

Booking for Lazarus Island’s tiny houses will be open later this year in April and overnight rates will be announced closer to the launch. You can also enjoy early bird rates by registering on the official booking site here.

And in case you are wondering, this isn’t Big Tiny’s first stint – the company also has collaborations and tiny houses installed in countries including Australia, Malaysia and New Zealand.

According to interviews, the company plans to install these tiny houses on more islands in Singapore such as Coney Island should the Lazarus Island launch become a success.
