Japan-famous FLIPPER’S closing Takashimaya outlet with 1-FOR-1 Soufflé Pancakes till early Oct

FLIPPER’S closing Takashimaya outlet with 1-for-1 promotion on soft fluffy pancakes

A pancake cafe in Takashimaya is saying sayonara come October.

Known for its soft airy and fluffy Kiseki pancakes, FLIPPER’S is a souffle pancake cafe that originated in Omotesandō, Tokyo.

Besides souffle pancakes, the cafe also launched Japanese sandos made using shokupan bread earlier this year.

There’s also an Otah Sando inspired by local flavours.

The chain opened its first Singapore outlet in Takashimaya back in November 2020 and then its second in Bugis around a year later.

FLIPPER’S outlet in Takashimaya also features a show kitchen where customers can view how the pancakes are made through a large glass window.

Closing in Early October

Sadly, all these will be gone in October as FLIPPER’S Singapore has just announced they will be closing down their Takashimaya outlet soon.

Here’s what they are saying:

“It is with a heavy heart that we bid farewell to our beloved patrons as we announce the closure of our FLIPPER’S outlet at Takashimaya as we prepare for a relocation to the WEST. We want to express our deepest gratitude for the unwavering support throughout the years.”

It’s not all bad news though – FLIPPER’S Bugis will still be operating as usual and they will be opening another outlet in the west sometime in the future.

Perhaps the best news of all for pancake lovers is that they will be offering a 1-for-1 promotion at the Takashimaya outlet during weekdays (Mon – Fri) between 11am and 4pm from now till the closing day. Simply purchase any pancake and receive a free maple butter cream pancake.

Each table can receive up to 2 free pancakes so be sure to jio your friends and family.

FLIPPER’S also mentioned they will likely be closing on the 8 October early next month so be sure to head down before that.
