New Limited Edition Pro gaming console to feature colours from the early days of PlayStation
Sony is celebrating 30 years of PlayStation with a special 30th Anniversary Collection that blends nostalgia with modern innovation.
This limited edition collection pays tribute to the original PlayStation console launched in 1994, with designs inspired by the iconic colour scheme and integrated into the latest PS5 hardware. It’s a perfect way to honour PlayStation’s legacy while looking toward the future of gaming.
The PlayStation 5 Pro Console – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle includes a PS5 Pro with 2TB SSD, Wi-Fi 7 (in supported regions), and matching accessories, such as the DualSense wireless controller, DualSense Edge, DualSense charging station, and a console cover (Disc Drive sold separately).
It also comes with exclusive collector’s items: a retro PlayStation controller-style cable housing, PlayStation shapes cable ties, a limited edition poster, and even a PlayStation paperclip. Only 12,300 units will be available, each etched with the launch date of the first PlayStation.
The PlayStation 5 Digital Edition Bundle offers a 1TB SSD version of the PS5 Digital Edition, complete with limited edition accessories and the same collector’s items.
For those looking for standalone products, Sony is also offering the PlayStation Portal Remote Player, DualSense Edge Wireless Controller, and DualSense Wireless Controller in special 30th Anniversary editions.
Pre-orders for the collection start on 26 September for PlayStation Network users through direct.playstation.com (not available for Singapore), with retailer pre-orders available soon after. The Digital Edition bundle will be available for pre-order starting 10 October at participating retailers.
