G-SHOCK has launched a new limited-edition collection that pays tribute to one of Japan’s most iconic symbols — the Shiba Inu.
More than just a cute face, the Shiba Inu is known for its spirit, loyalty, and dignified charm, traits that mirror the core values of the G-SHOCK brand. The collection is made in Japan and available exclusively online to CASIO-ID members.
The Shiba Inu Series features three distinct models that reflect the unique personalities and fur tones of the breed. Each watch is based on a signature G-SHOCK design — the DW-5600, DW-6900, and GA-100 — and comes in colour schemes inspired by Black, White, and Red Shiba Inus.
From the bezel and band colours to the playful use of Shiba silhouettes and facial graphics, every detail is a tribute to the breed. The inner side of each dual-colour band mimics the lighter underside of the dog’s coat, adding a subtle layer of authenticity.
This model features an off-white bezel and strap, representing the graceful white Shiro-Shiba. Press the light button and you’ll see a close-up of the dog’s face on the digital display.
A full-body silhouette appears on the dial, case back, and band loop, tying the theme together. With its triple digital indicators and classic front-button design, this watch blends personality with function.
The DW-6900SHB is available only at G-SHOCK Stores in Marina Bay Sands, ION Orchard, Jewel Changi Airport, and VivoCity.
Representing the sesame-toned Aka-Shiba, the GA-100SHB sports a brown bezel with an off-white underlay band. The face design is particularly charming — the LCD and analogue hands resemble the eyes and nose of a Shiba Inu.
A silhouette appears on the inset dial and other key areas, giving the large case a playful but proud character.
Sleek and stealthy, the DW-5600SHB pays homage to the black Kuro-Shiba. It features a black bezel and matching strap with an off-white inner layer.
Like its white counterpart, pressing the light reveals the dog’s face on the backlight.
Full-body silhouettes adorn the dial, case back, and band loop, making this model a subtle but striking nod to the breed.
