Swensen’s is turning up the heat (and the crunch) with an indulgent trio of Kunafa-inspired sundaes now available for a limited time across all outlets, as well as for takeaway and delivery.
The new creations feature Middle Eastern-style crispy kataifi paired with Swensen’s signature ice cream, creating a unique blend of textures and flavours that are equal parts nostalgic and inventive.
The Pisang Goreng Kunafa is Swensen’s playful tribute to a well-loved local classic. It swaps the usual batter for a golden crust of kataifi flakes, offering a crispier bite. This dessert is generously topped with shredded cheddar and pistachio sauce, finished with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a Swensen’s wafer fan for that final touch of familiarity.
For those who enjoy a nuttier, more decadent flavour, the Gold Rush Kunafa Sundae delivers. It’s layered with Coffee Fix and S’mores Ice Cream, roasted almonds, whipped cream, and drizzled with pistachio sauce. The whole creation is crowned with golden kataifi flakes and served in a vintage-style glass cup, offering a taste experience as rich as it looks.
The SCC0 Kunafa Sundae takes a lighter route without compromising on flavour. Featuring Swensen’s Sticky Chewy Chocolate Zer0 Ice Cream with no added sugar, this option still satisfies. Topped with kataifi flakes, pistachio sauce, and a chocolate-dipped cherry, it’s a balanced dessert for those watching their sugar intake but still craving something indulgent.
