Good news for all UnionPay cardholders, China’s largest payment network has just tied up with Shaw Theatres to offer 1-for-1 movie tickets every single day though there are certain terms and conditions to take note of:
- Only valid for first 800 free tickets per month. (Plan to watch your movies early in the month)
- Valid to standard 2D tickets, not valid for premium priced tickets i.e. IMAX, 3D, Shaw Theatres premiere, film festivals, movie marathons, ad-hoc special event movies, Hindi/Tamil films, etc.
- Not valid for online or mobile bookings, free ticket must be the same movie session as paid ticket.
- Maximum of 4 free tickets per cardholder per day.
- Your UnionPay Card number must begin with “62”.
This UnionPay and Shaw Theatres 1-for-1 promotion will be valid till 30 April 2016.
