Whoever says Sentosa ‘nothing to do’ will have to take back their words because believe it or not, construction has already begun on Singapore’s first ever Bungy Tower set to be located on Siloso Beach, Sentosa.

The 50-metre tall tower will present a new iconic attraction on the island will also house the world’s first dual swings, with two groups diving towards the ground at more than 100km/h.

For those who has no fear of heights, another highlight is a vertical skywalk which allows visitors to walk vertically down the centre shaft of the tower supported by static ropes. There will also be an open-air bridge 50 metres above ground that will give visitors a chance to view bungee jumpers in action.

AJ Hackett, one of the pioneers in bungee-jumping, has performed a number of high-profile jumps including the Eiffel Tower. After starting a commercial bungee company of the same name, AJ Hackett International has since remained one of the largest bungee operators in the world.

The Bungy Tower is set to complete by the end of 2016. Tickets are expected to be available soon, you can stay up to date on the latest here or from the official Facebook page.
