Big news for the fans of the popular manga series Death Note – a new sequel film is coming your way.
Death Note: Light up the NEW world is based on the popular Japanese manga of the same name and the story fast forward 10 years later after the events from Death Note 1 and 2. The Death Notes once again fall to the human world in a society afflicted with cyber-terrorism.
L and Yagami were dead in the last film but turns out in the sequel, two new individuals had inherited their DNA and you guess it, they are both at it again.
A three-part miniseries entitled Death Note: New Generation has also been announced to bridge the 10-year gap between the previous films and the 2016 sequel.
