Digital TV Rolled Out In Singapore Over Next Two Years

Free digital TV programs for everyone by 2016

Mediacorp has already started rolling out digital TV reception to neighbourhoods such as Ang Mo Kio, Jurong East, Clementi, Bukit Timah and Bukit Batok. By 2016, the whole of Singapore will be digital ready. If you are already subscribed to Starhub TV or Singtel mio, you should be already enjoying digital TV and there is no action required. For folks who are not, you can look out for TV or set top boxes with the “Digital TV” labels when purchasing them from retail stores.

Visit MDA official labelling scheme page for more information on the TVs that are already Digital ready or find a retail advisor on how to get Digital TV into your home. Low income families can apply for DTV Assistance Scheme. See rollout map below to check when your neighourhood is ready for Digital TV.
