If you own an iPhone 5 that is bought between September 2012 and January 2013 and experiencing battery performance issues, Apple has just confirmed the problem is now offering free battery replacements for your device.

All you have to do is check your iPhone serial number and then using their replacement program page to check if the serial number is eligible. You can then head down to any of the Apple Authorized Service Provider in Singapore if your phone qualifies for the replacement.

Please do remember to backup your data and erase your contents and settings before heading down for the battery replacement. The program covers affected iPhone 5 batteries for two years after the first retail sale of the unit or until March 1, 2015, whichever provides longer coverage.
