Super Nintendo World in Universal Studios Japan
This isn’t too much of a surprise after Japan’s prime minister dressed up as Super Mario at the Rio Olympics.
Announced earlier today, Nintendo will be teaming up with Universal Studios Japan to create a Super Nintendo World within the theme park in Osaka.
The tie-up will transform parts of Osaka’s Universal Studios into Nintendo game worlds featuring state-of-the-art rides, interactive areas, shops and a themed restaurant on a multi-layer structure complex as seen in the visual artwork above.
Super Nintendo World x Universal Studios Japan is expected to be open before the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
