Quite possibly the most loyal and dedicated dogs, these military canines have served over 40 (dog) years of their lives in Singapore protecting military bases and personnel.
They will be going into retirement and despite being 10 years or older, they are still lively as ever according to the dog handlers. These are larger dogs and quite possibly not HDB approved (you can find a list of HDB-approved dog breeds here) but if you have the space and compassion for them, you can contact MINDEF at 6424 6623 (9am to 5pm on weekdays) for more information.
An appointment will be arranged to view and select a dog, as well as to ascertain you and your home are suitable for the dog.
