Fans of the Monster Hunter series will soon be able to play the Monster Hunter XX (pronounced as Double Cross) on a bigger screen via Nintendo Switch game console, according to an announcement by Capcom earlier today.
Monster Hunter series has been wildly popular in Japan due to its co-op and multiplayer gameplay system and has gained a cult following around the world. In the game, players take on the role of hunters in a fantasy environment and complete quests by capturing or killing specific kinds of monsters.
Capcom, however, did not disclose a release date. According to the official website (in Japanese), there will be a Monster Hunter festival event of some sort in Sapporo this weekend, which means there’s a chance more details will be released then.
