Folks in the north can expect a lot more fun at the newly enhanced 27-hectare Admiralty Park which opened over the weekend.
The largest park in the north situated on hilly terrain with Sungei Cina river running through it now features a collection of 26 new slides, including some of the widest and the longest slides that can be found in a public park.
The new park will contain three main play areas – Junior Play, Adventure Play and the Family Terracing Play. These play areas will come with play equipment that will encourage group and multi-generation interaction with children.
Also in the plan is new nature area which features a diverse mix of secondary forest, mangrove, riverine and open grassland habitats, and over 100 species of flora and fauna, is scheduled to open in Admiralty Park by end of 2017.
