Porterheads (not Harry Potter), there’s a New Year lucky bag you might be interested.

This Tuesday, 8 January, Porter International Singapore at Wisma Atria will be selling their Bag of Joy.

For those not familiar, Porter’s Bag of Joy is similar to Fukubukuro (福袋) in Japan, where merchants fill up bags with unknown random contents (mostly from the same brand) sometime during the New Year and sell them at a substantial discount, usually 50% or more off the usual prices.

The Bag of Joy sale will begin from 1pm onwards, according to the Singapore store.

Few things you should know

Porter Singapore did not disclose the price or the number of the lucky bags available, but from Bag of Joy sale from previous years, there should be an estimated few hundred bags in stock with price ranging between $150 – $200 each.

Also:  Gold MILO Van Collectibles available for FREE with 3-in-1 & Gao Siew Dai Packs at supermarkets in S'pore

One more thing – These bags usually contain past-season styles so don’t expect to receive the latest Porter bags or accessories. Despite that, they are still very popular and usually sell out within the day.

You can find Porter International store at #03-06 in Wisma Atria.
