Love waffles? You will love IKEA’s new dish
In case you didn’t know, there’s such a thing as a Swedish Waffle Day and it falls on 25 March.
On this very day here in Singapore, IKEA is celebrating their own edition of the Swedish Waffle Day with a new dish – Waffle with Chicken Tenders and Fries.
As the name suggests, the dish comes with the classic gridlike cakes with chicken tenders and fries on the side. It also comes with maple syrup if you wish to turn it into a breakfast dish or dessert.
Perhaps the best news is that it costs only $5.
Kids Eat Free Promotion
Besides enjoying the Swedish tradition, mums and dads will be glad to know that their kids under 12 will also get to enjoy a free kids meal from 18 – 22 March (Mon – Fri).
The offer includes 1 free meal per child from the children’s menu only.
Both promotions are available at IKEA Tampines and Alexandra restaurants, while stocks last.
