Now we can all go to IKEA and queue for Nasi Lemak, not furniture.
For the entire month of April, IKEA Singapore will be hosting a Nasi Lemak Fiesta, offering 4 different versions of the popular local dish on selected periods:
- 1 – 5 April: Nasi Lemak with Chicken Chop
- 8 – 12 April: Nasi Lemak with Chicken Leg
- 15 – 19 April: Nasi Lemak with Fish Fillet
- 22 – 26 & 29 – 30 April: Nasi Lemak with Chicken Cutlet
It will cost $6.50 per dish but do take note that they will only be available on weekdays Monday to Friday.
IKEA’s take on the Nasi Lemak dish will come with fragrant coconut rice, full-boiled egg, peanuts, cucumber slices and of course not forgetting perhaps the most important ingredient – sambal chilli.
Dishes will be available at Tampines and Alexandra on the non-halal line.
