Famous Jin Feng Braised Braised Pork Rice from Taiwan is opening S’pore 1st outlet in AMK Hub

The best Lu Rou Fan in Taiwan

Taiwan’s famous Jin Feng Braised Pork Rice opening soon at AMK Hub

Some say Jin Feng Lu Rou Fan (Braised Pork Rice) in Taipei is the best in the country.

Perhaps it’s the price of their dishes which start from NT$30 (S$1.30) for a bowl of their famous braised pork rice and a couple slices of bitter melon.

Customers can also add braised egg and pork belly slices to the dish for an additional fee.

It’s really popular

There’s almost always a snaking queue at the shop located along Roosevelt Rd in Taipei.

Like a tourist attraction.

Coming to Singapore

Now you can enjoy the same dish soon as they will be opening their first outlet in Singapore at AMK Hub.

The shop, located at basement 2 of the mall, is currently under renovation.

The artwork on the scaffolding reveals a little more information, such as the shop’s history in Taiwan.

However, there’s no indication on when it will open.

Same same or different?

Some fans have also pointed out the outlet in Singapore is based from Jin Feng near Ximending (西門金峰) and not the one from Roosevelt Rd.

Both shops in Taiwan reportedly operate independently but some media have suggest both owners come from the same family.

Ximen Jin Feng (Gin Fong) shop also has a different interior and bowl, although the food and menu look similar.

They too have raving reviews from lots of customers.

We will update again once they have announced the opening date.
