Compilation of all extended MRT and bus timings on New Year’s Eve 2019

Planning to party till late on the last day of 2019? You might want to find out the extended bus and train timings on New Year’s Eve if you are planning to take public transport or if you are out drinking.

Here’s the compilation of the timings from all operating transport companies including SBS Transit, SMRT, Tower Transit and Go-Ahead Singapore.

Train Services

Bus Route Diversion (Boon Lay)

For commuters taking buses in the Boon Lay area, do take note there will be route diversions for bus services 99, 240, 240M and 246 between New Year’s Eve (31 Dec) 6pm till 1am on New Year’s Day (1 Jan).

Bus Route Diversion (Marina Bay)

There will also be route diversions in the Marina Bay area due to the countdown.

Do also take note there will also be adjustments to the operating hours on selected bus services during New Year’s Eve.

Below are the affected bus services and extended operating hours from SBS Transit, Tower Transit and Go-Ahead on New Year’s Eve 2019.

Night Rider Service

SMRT NightRider (NR) services run on Fridays, Saturdays and the eves of Public Holidays from 11.30pm to 2.00am.

The fare for NightRider services is $4.50 per trip (cash or EZ-Link). NightRider commuters who pay by EZ-link card will also enjoy a free transfer to another NightRider service within the stipulated time. This is not applicable if you are transferring from a bus to a NightRider service. Concessionary travel is not applicable.
