Here’s a first look at the newly revamped Sembawang Hot Spring Park which reopens today

So nice

Enjoy a relaxing foot bath at the new Sembawang Hot Spring Park

In case you didn’t know, Sembawang Hot Spring Park has been undergoing renovations for a while now and it officially reopens today (4 January), NParks revealed.

The only natural hot spring in Singapore located off Gambas Ave, the park now features new cascading pools, improved water collection points and a new floral walk leading to the entrance.

Here’s a quick first look at what’s new at the park.

Cascading Pools

Visitors will be able to enjoy a foot bath at the new cascading pool at the heart of the park.

70-degrees hot spring water emerges at the top of the pool which cools down to a comfortable 40-degrees Celsius when it reaches the lower tiers.

Looks so relaxing.

There will be kid-friendly water features where young ones can learn and play safely with the warm spring water.

Water Collection Point

Visitors can also bring their own buckets or use the ones provided by NParks to collect water from the new collection points.

Do take note that the hot spring water that flows out from the outlets are around 70 degrees Celsius hot, although making it the perfect temperature for cooking eggs.

Sheltered Amenities

Seniors can also take a break under sheltered pavilions near the hot spring when the weather’s too sunny.

Besides exploring and enjoying a foot bath at the park, visitors will also be able to grab a bite at the cafe in the park.

It is operated by Sembawang Eating House which serves traditional eggs and toast, laksa and nasi lemak.

Floral Walk

Explore the new Floral Walk upon entering the park, which has fruit trees and edible plants commonly found in kampungs back in the 60s to 90s.
