Japan’s Yakiniku Like opening 1st outlet in S’pore on Feb 3
You probably have seen Yakiniku Like if you have travelled to Japan before. They have dozens of outlets in the country and are known for their smokeless dedicated roaster, perfect for individual customers who just want to have a quick meal with barbecued meats.
Here’s how it looks like inside their restaurant in Japan.
Diners can also customize their dips with a selection of sauces and condiments.
Opening in Singapore
Yakiniku Like will be opening their first outlet in Singapore at PLQ Mall (Paya Lebar Quarter) on 3 February (Monday) and will be having a grand opening promotion.
They will be offering their Karubi Set, the bestselling dish, at just $2.90 (U.P. $12.80).
$2.90 because 2 is ni and 9 sounds like ku in Japanese.
The set also comes with rice, soup and kimchi.
However, do note that the promotion will only be available for the first 290 customers that walk in during that day. Queuing starts from 5pm onwards.
Here’s how the new outlet in PLQ Mall, which seats 42 pax, will look like.
The individual roasters on the table come with vents to absorb the smoke and odour so you won’t leave the place smelling like barbecued meat.
