Really no Google?
There are a few alternatives (with limitations) to getting Google mobile services (GMS) on your Huawei Mate 30. One of them is using Huawei HiSuite tool as highlighted in this Geek Culture article.
The other, slightly more complicated method, involves downloading some files and installing a Chinese Google Services Assistant APK file as shown in the video below.
