Sanrio plushie keychains with face masks available in Japan
While the Covid-19 virus clearly isn’t going away anytime soon, Sanrio Japan has come up with new adorable collectibles that will at least provide some relief to anxious fans in the country.
Sanrio Plushie Keychains
Available in five mascot designs, these tiny plushie keychains feature popular Sanrio characters including Hello Kitty, My Melody, Pompompurin, Cinnamoroll, and Pochacco.
They also come with face masks on them, a timely reminder that we should wear them when we are feeling unwell.

In case you are wondering, the face masks do come off to reveal their faces.
Ironically, these plushies are made in China.
Pricing & Availability
These mask-themed Sanrio keychains are priced at ¥1,760 (~S$22) each but unfortunately, they are only available on the official Japan website. At the moment, stocks on Hello Kitty and My Melody are both sold out.
Fans here, however, can still make use of forwarders such as vPost to bring them in, although it will cost an additional shipping fee.
