A quick walk around the neighbourhood malls reveals lots of shops selling face masks and hand sanitizers to keep up with rental fees, despite being a hardware shop or mobile repair service when it’s business as usual.
Anti-Bacterial Clothing
Hong Kong-based casual wear retailer Baleno is no exception, coming up with creative ways to attract customers during this difficult period – by selling Anti-Bacterial Polo t-shirts.
We spotted this at their outlet in Heartland Mall (Kovan).

Baleno claims these polo t-shirts protect the wearer against a wide range of bacteria, certified harmless to the body and continues to have anti-bacteria effects even after repeated washing.

They are also priced affordably at only $13.90 each.
Customers can choose from a number of designs and colours, some with cat motifs and puppy paw prints.
Just how effective are they? Clearly, we won’t know for sure since it would be near impossible to test them, although they are probably the next best thing after face masks and hand sanitisers.
