Temasek Foundation giving FREE 500ml Hand Sanitizers to S’pore households from Mar 23 at CCs and CapitaLand Malls

Free hand sanitizers to be given out at CCs and CapitaLand Malls starting from 23 March

Hand sanitizers have become a common sight these days. They are particularly useful for cleaning your hands when you don’t have access to soap and water.

For those who cannot get them from stores, Temasek Foundation has just announced they will be giving away 500ml hand sanitizers for free to all households in Singapore.

23 March onwards

Residents can look out for pamphlets with redemption tabs in their mailbox in the coming days.

The collection day will be indicated on the pamphlet.

The hand sanitizers will be distributed at all Community Centres/Clubs (CCs) and participating CapitaLand Malls:

You can find the list of CCs in Singapore here.

Bring your own bottle

During the collection day, bring along your pamphlet along with a clean bottle with a capacity of 500ml or more, and with labels removed.

There’s also a video showing the steps to collect your hand sanitizers.

Zero alcohol hand sanitizer

Although the hand sanitizer distributed doesn’t have alcohol content due to concerns of fire hazard, they still contain a solution of 0.054% benzalkonium chloride, which disables germs like coronaviruses as per NEA guidelines.

It is also non-toxic, non-flammable, non-corrosive, does not irritate or stain, and is biodegradable.
