This bowl sculpture is actually a Wireless Bluetooth Speaker that cracks open & even lights up

Not your typical speakers

It’s a lamp, it’s a speaker, it’s Teno.

Bluetooth speakers usually come in blocky or tubular designs which we normally chuck away in the corner of the room and out of our sight but here’s one that you will want to make it a centrepiece on your desk, shelf or sideboard.

Meet Teno

Sculpted like a craft bowl, Teno is a few things – when cracked open, it reveals a soft warm light that acts as a table or ambient lamp that can be adjusted with a simple tap. When fully opened, it also becomes a powerful Bluetooth speaker which can be controlled by touch as well.

You can tap on the center top surface to activate the dimmer. There are 4 levels of brightness.

Or slide your fingers on either side along the curve of the bowl to control the volume.

Teno also comes with a discreet magnetic charger that will snap into place.

You can also pair 2 of them to enjoy true wireless stereo audio. Simply pair the Teno by double-tapping the base.

Price & Availability

As beautiful as Teno looks and functions, it doesn’t come with an affordable price tag. It is currently priced at US$240 each on Kickstarter or if you are getting a pair, you can get it at an early-bird pricing at US$390 for a pair (limited quantity left).

Do also note since it is a Kickstarter project, the delivery date will be sometime in May next year.
