Singapore Airlines selling 48pc Signature Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce for S$98, available in limited quantities

Around $2 per piece

SIA Signature Satay now available on KrisShop so you won’t miss inflight food

Believe it or not, Singapore Airlines has started selling food from their inflight menu.

SIA Signature Satay

Available now at an introductory price, Singapore Airlines has recently listed their Signature Satay dish on KrisShop, the national airline’s official online shop.

For an introductory price of $98, customers will get 48 sticks of chicken satay (packed in sets of 12) and 1.2kg worth of peanut sauce (300g x 4 packets).

Which means you pay around $2.04 per stick.

Now you can have SIA satay for CNY reunion dinners at home.

Customers can also use KrisFlyer miles to redeem, especially useful if you have a lot of them that are going to expire since flight redemption is probably out of the question for now.

Frozen Packs

According to the description, the chicken satay sticks and peanut sauce will be delivered frozen in foil containers/packaging and vacuum packs, and can be kept in the freezer up to 6 months from the date of production.

Also:  7-Eleven S'pore brings in Bourbon Petit x Demon Slayer Cookies & Chips available for $2 each

There will also be thawing, reheating and plating instructions provided.

Tip: Make sure you clear out some space in your freezer for the satay after you have placed your order.
