Newly revamped CCK Public Library in Lot One Shoppers’ Mall set to reopen later this year
After closing for renovation back in June 2019, Choa Chu Kang Public Library will soon be reopening later this year with a new look.
According to Sim Ann, the Senior Minister of State for the Ministry of Communications and Information (MCI), the newly revamped library will be reopening its doors to serve residents in the neighbourhood in the second half of 2021.
Nature-themed interiors
The new Choa Chu Kang library will be one of the first libraries to feature futuristic features. Besides having a nature-themed design indoors with lush green colourways, it will also be equipped with digital services to promote biodiversity.
Library visitors will also be able to interact with the books through augmented reality features.
More details including the official re-opening date will be available later this year.
