MILO-flavoured chocolate snack from Japan spotted in Don Don Donki store in S’pore
You probably have heard of made-in-Australia MILO, but here’s a snack all MILO lovers must try.
MILO Box from Japan
We spotted boxes of MILO snacks sitting in the chocolate and tidbits section of Northpoint City’s Don Don Donki store. Upon closer look, it is a MILO-flavoured chocolate snack that Don Don Donki says will bring back childhood memories.
It is priced at $5.50 per box.
The label on the box comes with Japanese text and at the back, it states it is a product of Japan.
Needless to say, we had to buy a box to try.
The snack has an easy-to-tear lift tab with a quick explainer about the MILO beverage and it is suitable for all ages.
The MILO chocolate truffles are also packed individually so you can enjoy them anytime you want.
Here’s how the snack looks like – pretty close to the image on the box.
The bite-sized chocolate truffle has a strong MILO malty flavour and a core filled with a blend of chocolate and thick MILO powder in the middle.
MILO fans will probably want to pair this snack with a cup of made-in-Australia MILO beverage for the ultimate tea-time indulgence.
Absolutely delicious.
