This food stall in Mountbatten sells economical bee hoon in 2023 with prices stuck in the 90s
Here’s a breakfast stall that sells really cheap bee hoon (rice vermicelli) to visit if you only have $2 left in your wallet.
Quan Nasi Lemak Economical Bee Hoon
Spotted by a Facebook user Lionel Lim, the stall named 泉 Quan Nasi Lemak Economical Bee Hoon located on level 1 of Jalan Batu Hawker Centre along Mountbatten Road sells typical Singaporean breakfast staples such as bee hoon and noodles at ultra-affordable prices.

As cheap as $1.80 for a plate of bee hoon with fried egg, vegetables and a fish fillet. The portions are generous as well.
According to reviews put up on Google Maps, the food stall is well-known around the area for its low price point and sells out quickly in the morning so if you are planning to drop by, be sure to be early to avoid disappointment.
We also found a YouTube video review of the place, which mentioned the stall opens as early as 5am in the morning.
The YouTuber @eatwithroy paid $4.10 for 2 packets (one year ago), fast-forward today it still costs around the same even after the GST hike. Unbelievable.
Definitely worth it if you are looking to fill your stomach on a budget, especially if you stay or work around the Mountbatten area.
