Good news if you have been holding out for a new MacBook with a larger display.
MacBook Air 15-inch Laptop
Apple has just announced a new MacBook Air with a larger 15-inch display at WWDC last night (Singapore time). It will feature an expansive 15.3-inch Liquid Retina display, powered by the latest Apple Silicon M2 processor.
Apple claims the new MacBook Air is the world’s thinnest 15-inch laptop which measures only 11.5mm thin and weighs just 1.5kg with a fanless design.
It also has up to 18 hours of battery life and a six-speaker sound system that delivers immersive Spatial Audio.
Similar to its 13-inch siblings, the new MacBook Air will feature MagSafe charging, two thunderbolt ports for connecting accessories and up to a 6K external display, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack.
It will be priced at $1,899 for the 256GB SSD storage variant and $2,199 for the larger 512GB storage. Pre-orders start on 7 June in Singapore with delivery expected in a week’s time.
