Casio new A1100 vintage series is based on the original 52QS-14B watch from the 70s
Here’s a new Casio series you won’t want to miss out on if vintage is your kind of fashion style.
Casio A1100 Vintage Series
Japanese watch company Casio has revived the designs from one of its oldest watch models that made its debut back in the late 1970s.
The newly-released A1100 series is based on the 52QS-14B which features the same metallic style and four front buttons that adjust the modes, date, light and more, leaving the sides of the watch free from any grooves or buttons.
Unlike the original 52QS-14B, the new A1100 series boasts a full stainless steel metallic style including the case, watch face and band. It also has a display made from mineral glass and offers water resistance against splashes or rain.
There are 3 colours to choose from – Black, Silver and Gold with the black model equipped with a unique green-tinted LCD display.
As for their prices, the silver model comes in at an affordable $175 while the black and gold, likely due to the perceived popularity and finish, gets a higher price tag of $245.
