Attention Hello Kitty and Kuromi fans – prepare yourselves, as Takashimaya is gearing up to host an exciting Sanrio Fair starting this week.
CNY-themed Sanrio Fair
Get ready for the Sanrio ‘Year of the Dragon’ Fair, taking place in the Talking Hall in basement 1 of the mall. The sale event is set to begin on 27 December and will run until 7 January, just in time to set the tone for the Lunar New Year celebrations.
Expect to find lots of Sanrio merchandise showcasing beloved characters such as Hello Kitty, My Melody, Twin Stars, Pompompurin, Cinnamoroll, as well as the sleeper hit Kuromi. Kuromi, with her distinctive appearance, has gained popularity among the punk and goth crowds, adding a unique flair to the collection.
During our visit, we spotted the staff unpacking some of the merchandise, adding an element of excitement as they prepare the items for sale.
A closer look reveals the Sanrio Fair promises a diverse selection of items catering to every fan’s desire. Dive into a world of fashion with a selection of clothing, including Chinese New Year-themed styles alongside trendy flip-flops.
There will also be a selection of charming kids’ utensils and tableware, water bottles, bags, and an extensive collection of toys and figurines to choose from.
