Golden Village launches GV Annual Pass that unlocks $7 Movie Tickets for a year at all cinema locations

Pay only $7 for movie tickets for the entire year with GV’s new Annual Pass

It appears there’s a wallet-friendly option at Golden Village, especially for movie lovers who prefer to enjoy the latest releases on the big screen.

Golden Village has just launched Singapore’s first-of-its-kind Annual Pass, offering a total of 16 movie tickets at 50% off the usual price. Additionally, pass holders also enjoy exclusive perks including ticket discounts to premium movie halls and food combos.

The Annual Pass is priced at $120 for the public and $112 for GV Movie Club members (free to sign up here).

According to Golden Village, the pass is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and can be used for over-the-counter redemption and online booking (website and iGV app) for all days and sessions at all GV locations in Singapore.

To use the GV Annual Pass online, simply select the movie tickets, checkout using the credit or debit card option and enter your annual pass number. However, do note a convenience fee of $2 is chargeable for online purchases.

Pass holders can also purchase the tickets over the counter by showing the staff their E-Pass.

• Premium Movie Hall Discounts
  • Enjoy $3.00 off Gold Class movie tickets for purchases over the counter (Valid for Monday to Thursday).
  • Enjoy $2.00 off Gold Class Express movie tickets for purchases over the counter (Valid for Monday to Thursday).
  • Enjoy $1.00 off Gemini, Duo Deluxe, Deluxe Plus movie tickets for purchases over the counter (All days).
• Food Discounts (Mon – Wed only):
  • Regular Popcorn Combo @ $7.00 (U.P $11.70)
  • Nachos Combo @ $7.00 (U.P $9.50)
  • Hotdog Combo @ $7.00 (U.P $9.00)
  • Cheesy Chicken Meatballs Combo @$7.00 (U.P $9.00)

Not bad but before you purchase the annual pass, make sure to carefully review the terms and conditions outlined below:

• Validity and Usage:
  • The Pass has a stored value of 16 movie tickets.
  • The Pass is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. No redemption can be made after the expiry date.
  • It is valid for over-the-counter redemption and online reservation (website and iGV) only.
  • No refunds will be provided for any of the tickets purchased using the Pass.
  • You may not resell your tickets purchased using the Pass.
  • GV reserves the absolute right to immediately cancel, without refund, any Pass where the holder is found to be in breach of these Terms.
• Blackout Period:
  • The Pass cannot be used to purchase tickets for Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and 1st Day of Lunar New Year.
  • In addition, the Pass may be subjected to blackout of certain movie titles and/or blackout periods for certain movie titles.
• Redemption:
  • Subject to blackout period above, the Pass is valid for redemption for all days and sessions at all GV locations for traditional halls only.
  • It is not applicable for Premium Halls (Gold Class, Gold Class Express, Gemini, Duo Deluxe and Deluxe+, etc…), Premium Priced Films (3D, Concerts, special themed events, movies marked with “Premium” tag, etc…), Premium Priced Seats (D-Box), Film Marathons, Film Festivals, Premieres and bookings of the whole or a substantial part of the hall or any number of tickets exceeding 9 (“Group Bookings”).
  • It is only valid for 2D films and ATMOS.
• Booking Fee and Limitations:
  • A convenience fee of S$2 is chargeable per online transaction with a maximum of 9 tickets redeemed for any session.
  • The Pass cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • The Pass cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions or for Group Bookings (see Redemption above).
• Card Benefits for Gold Class, Gold Class Express, Gemini, Duo Deluxe and Deluxe+:
  • Pass holders may enjoy a discount when purchasing more than 1 ticket of the same class for the above.
  • Discount may only be used for over-the-counter purchases.
• Liability:
  • GV is not liable for any losses or damages arising directly or indirectly from the use of the Pass by the Pass Holder.
• Expiry and Under-Utilization:
  • Expired Passes cannot be revalidated or refunded.
  • No refunds will be made for under-utilized Passes.
• Amendment of Terms:
  • GV reserves the right to amend these Terms without prior notice. We may provide notice of these changes on our website and app and use of the Pass constitutes agreement to the then current Terms.
• Termination:
  • GV reserves the right at any time in its sole discretion to terminate the Pass programme upon ten days’ written notice to Pass Holders. Where applicable, a proportional refund of the Pass fee will be made.
• Personal Data :
  • By purchasing the Pass, you consent to your personal data being used in accordance with GV’s data policy which can be found at HERE.
