Blue Bottle Coffee is set to make waves in Singapore’s café scene with its first-ever Southeast Asian café
Singapore’s coffee scene is about to welcome a major player.
The renowned Blue Bottle Coffee, a cult favourite from the United States, is set to open its first Singaporean café at Raffles City in early 2025. This marks the next phase of its collaboration with Japanese retailer Lumine, which houses its current retail section in the same space.
A Highly Anticipated Arrival
Since making its initial foray into Singapore in August 2024 with a retail presence, Blue Bottle Coffee’s arrival has been highly anticipated by local coffee lovers. At the new café, patrons can expect a meticulously curated espresso menu alongside its signature brews, crafted from single-origin beans.
True to its design ethos, the space will feature the brand’s signature minimalist aesthetic, punctuated only by its iconic blue bottle logo.
A Global Coffee Phenomenon
Founded in Oakland, California, in 2002 as a small coffee cart, Blue Bottle Coffee has since expanded globally, with locations across the U.S., Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and China. Its expansion into Singapore aligns with its long-standing partnership with Lumine, which has hosted several of its cafés in Japan.
