Honouring Singapore’s 60 years with journeys that span the world
As Singapore celebrates its 60th year of independence, the Singapore Airlines (SIA) Group is commemorating the occasion with a series of initiatives that blend travel perks, cultural tributes, and charitable outreach.
The “Celebrating with Singapore” campaign will run from April through December 2025, offering both locals and travellers unique opportunities to engage with the milestone.
Promos with a Purpose: SG60-Themed Travel Deals
To mark the occasion, SIA and Scoot are rolling out a suite of fare promotions. SIA’s “SG60 Fare Deals” offer discounted flights to 77 destinations between April and November 2025, while Scoot is offering deals to 60 destinations through mid-April.
Additional perks include lucky draw entries for flights to Seoul and extended flash sales such as Scoot’s 60-hour deals in May and June.
KrisFlyer members aren’t left out either. August will see a 60-hour Spontaneous Escapes promotion, offering discounted redemptions and bonus miles, especially for bookings on Scoot.
Local Culture, Elevated: From Meals to Merchandise
The campaign also spotlights Singapore’s culture through food and merchandise. Between July and September, selected SIA flights will feature popular hawker dishes like fried carrot cake and roti prata, traditionally found only in local coffee shops. These offerings extend to lounges at Changi Airport during August.
Onboard KrisWorld, a curated “Celebrating Singapore” section will showcase local history, arts, and culture through documentaries and other media content.
KrisShop, the Group’s e-commerce platform, is launching a Heritage Collection with items inspired by Singapore’s visual past—from shophouse tiles to playground dragons. A special tiffin carrier, foldable shopping bag, and cup-and-saucer set will be part of the lineup.
Art in the Sky: A Youthful Collaboration
In a nod to contemporary design, Scoot is introducing a limited-edition aircraft model designed by a student from LASALLE College of the Arts. Featuring motifs and patterns inspired by Southeast Asian culture and Scoot’s travel network, the piece will be sold on flights and via KrisShop from August.
