Anker recalls 4 power bank models over battery concerns – check if yours is affected
Anker Innovations has announced a voluntary recall of four specific power bank models after a recent internal safety review.
While the chance of malfunction is minimal, the company’s decision reflects a proactive approach to consumer protection. The review flagged a potential issue involving lithium-ion battery cells sourced from a single supplier.
The affected models include:
A1257 – Anker Power Bank (10,000mAh, 22.5W)
A1647 – Anker Power Bank (20,000mAh, 22.5W, Built-in USB-C Cable)
A1681 – Anker Zolo Power Bank (20,000mAh, 30W, Built-in USB-C and Lightning Cable)
A1689 – Anker Zolo Power Bank (20,000mAh, 30W, Built-in USB-C Cable)

If your power bank is confirmed to be affected, Anker requests that you dispose of it at a certified recycling facility that accepts lithium batteries.
