Cameras, Laptops and even ACNE DEVICE!
This year we decided to make a trip down to PC Show 2010 held in Suntec convention halls and check on the deals going on around the halls. The consensus for these computer shows is simply a combination of Sim Lim Square and Funan altogether in one place and while most product prices are not too different from originally advertised, freebies are always welcomed by most customers. In fact we believe it is the freebies package that ultimately drives crowds to these events, and especially more true for camera products.
It isn’t much different this year round, with the usual big brands squaring the spaces around the front of the halls. The crowd is still as big and even on the 1st day where we there as early as 2pm, some corners are already starting to jam up pretty badly. The all time popular Western Digital drives had their prices reduced and were inviting a long queue for payments, so if you are hoping to get some storage be sure get there early. Surprisingly we even bought something for our office and spotted some interesting products for example:
- the acne/blemish cleaning device called Zeno
- a pen camera(literally a pen, not the Olympus PEN!)
- a few highly capable multimedia players
- Razer with a booth there so gamers watch out for it
- Creative’s Vado pocket video cam
- Samsung 3D LED TVs for demo and testing
- USB ionizer going for $9.90
The PC Show this year definitely didn’t disappoint, and with the amount of interest growing on innovative and multi-features products we are really hoping for companies to showcase their latest technologies instead of just pushing sales in events like these in the future. Do check out the event and some flyer images below and you just might find something of interest to you.
