After 10 long years of filming, the Harry Potter film franchise has finally reached it’s epic ultimatum of its series – Deathly Hallows Part II. London is the only city in the world to have the film premiered on July 7th last week and no big surprise here, you will be happy to know this movie has been critically acclaimed by early movie critics and reviewers. However don’t go snooping around if you have never read the novel, otherwise ending up reading some spoilers accidentally.
The film’s duration is 2 hours and 10 mins and if you happen to be a hardcore Harry Potter fan, you might be glad to know that GV has specially prepared a marathon on all 8 films in the series, an incredible 24 hour screening(plus meal/toilet breaks)! $88 if you are a GV movie club member, $98 for the public.
Grossing over 6.3 billion USD in revenue, I wonder if this is a record for a film series(Lord of the Rings grossed a little over 2.9 billion in comparison) in this decade? The money tree won’t stop shaking with the final film that’s for sure, especially when there’s a myriad of fans around the world snatching up their latest merchandise and blu-ray compilations. The Harry Potter franchise will undoubtedly live on for many more decades to come, so be sure to catch a piece of this amazing film’s history in the cinemas come this Thursday!
