It seems like every major tech company is onto wearables these days, even Google has announced Android Wear – an operating system for wearables such as smartwatches that will be rolled out to developers and manufacturers. Not much details has been announced other than what you see on the video that showcases the possibilities of what Android Wear can do, we can’t help but imagine in the near future we will be hearing a lot of “OK, Google.” in public.

According to The Verge, Motorola has informed the circular watch you see in the picture is in fact an upcoming smartwatch they will be announcing soon. Why does all this matter? If Android Wear does grow into an ecosystem, we could see more manufacturers taking on the Android Wear OS into their line of future products and apart from just alerts and notifications, Android Wear devices could even have its place in our daily lives very soon.
